Parking

You are best to temporarily park at the Harborside Inn while you check in. We recommend guests park at the garage at 75 State Street. The entrance to this garage is 2 streets past Harborside on Broad Street. Rates are available upon request.

The Harborside Inn offers limited off-site parking for $20 per evening. Please call for reservations.

Directions

The Harborside is located at 185 State Street near the waterfront in downtown Boston. We are situated between the New England Aquarium and Faneuil Hall.

From the Subway

Blue Line: Exit at Aquarium. Make sharp left turn (U-Turn), and walk three doors toward harbor. Harborside Inn is on right hand side.
Green Line: Exit at Government Center. Walk down State Street approximately 5 blocks. Harborside Inn will be on your right.
Orange Line: Exit at State Street, and then walk on State Street toward harbor, before passing under the elevated expressway. Harborside Inn will be on the Right.
Red Line: Take Red Line to Downtown Crossing. At Downtown Crossing, transfer to the Orange Line towards Oak Grove. Exit Orange Line at State Street and follow above directions.

From Logan Airport

The Harborside Inn is less than 2 miles from Logan Airport. The taxi fare is approximately $25 to $30 and should take 15-20 minutes depending on traffic conditions. Ask the driver to take you to the Harborside Inn on State Street, near the Custom House Tower.

If driving from the airport, follow the signs to Boston and the Sumner Tunnel. Merge onto William F McClellan Hwy/MA-1A S via the ramp on the left. After exiting the tunnel, turn slight right onto Cross St. Turn Slight Right. Turn Left onto Blackstone St. Turn Left onto Surface Rd/Surface Artery. Continue to follow Surface Artery/Atlantic Ave. Turn Right onto State St. The Harborside Inn is on the immediate left--#185 State St.

From the South (South Shore, Cape Cod, Rhode Island)

Take Route 95 North (from RI) or Route 3 North (from Cape Cod) to Route 93 North. Get off 93 North at Exit 23- Gov't Center. Stay to the Right. Follow sign for Aquarium Wharf. At the 4th set of lights take a right on State St. Look for signs for State St. and make a Right. Harborside Inn is on your left.

From the North (North Shore, New Hampshire, Maine)

Take 95 South or Route 1 South to 93 South. Follow 93 South to Exit 24- Callahan Tunnel/Logan Airport. Stay to the right on the exit ramp. At the bottom of the ramp, go through the intersection and bear left, following the sign for Surface Artery and 93 South. At the 3rd set of lights, make a right onto State Street. Harborside Inn is on your left.

From the West (Western MA, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey)

From NY/NJ take 91 North to 84 East. From CT take 84 East. Follow Interstate 84 to 90 East (Massachusetts Turnpike). Take 90 East to exit 24B, 93 North, towards Manchester, NH. Get onto 93 North. Get off 93 North at Exit 23- Gov't Center. Follow sign for Aquarium Wharf. Go straight. Look for signs for State St and make a Right. Harborside Inn is on your left.

From Route 2

Take Route 2 East to Fresh Pond Parkway. Follow Fresh Pond Parkway to Storrow Drive East, to Boston. At the end of Storrow Drive, merge onto 93 South. From here, follow above directions from the North.
